Hello, I’m Ashutosh.

I turn coffee into code and deadlines into features (most of the time).

I’m a backend engineer and MSCS student at Binghamton University who loves turning messy problems into fast, reliable systems. At Priceline, I spent ~3 years designing and scaling Java microservices (handling 80,000+ daily API calls), automating data pipelines on GCP, and architecting resilient supplier integrations that keep a global travel platform humming.

I have also contributed to finance reconciliation automation, scalable ETL pipelines, and frameworks that improved system stability and data accuracy.

Fluent in Java, Python, SQL, and cloud (GCP/AWS), I thrive on thorny engineering challenges—latency budgets, API design, and fault tolerance are my happy place.

When I’m not tuning JVMs, I’m either smashing on the badminton court or decoding candlestick charts.

Implemented a supplier file consumption system for Priceline using Apache Camel in Java, enabling file polling on REST/SFTP exchanges and GCP, automating finance reconciliation process and optimizing data ingestion
Designed the base architecture for a supplier response mocking framework using functional programming thereby resolving airline test environment instability; the design was endorsed by the Architect group and fully developed as a quarterly goal by the Mumbai team
